Baxi Boiler Error Code: FLASHED Green 1 TIME

Possible Fault:  Boiler temp reached

Action:

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code:  3 GREEN FLASHES

Possible Fault: Temporary Flame Loss (No Reset Required)

Action: Temporary error, self-reset, if continues will go to 3 red flashes (lockout).

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code:  4 GREEN FLASHES

Possible Fault:  Communication Fault Between PCB And Control

Action: Temporary error, self-reset.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 5 GREEN FLASHES

Possible Fault: Parameter Error On PSU/PCB

Action: Temporary error, self-reset.

Possible Fault: Miscellaneous Error

Action: Temporary error, self-reset.

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 1 RED FLASH

Possible Fault: Sensor Error: Sensor Fault, Temperature Fault Or Flow Fault

Action: Check The Wiring; Check That The Sensors Are 12kohms @ 25 degrees c ; Check That The Sensor is fitted into toe pocket; Check that the AAV is open; Check that the system is full of water and any air cleared; Check that the pump is running and that the flow and return is the right way round. Check for blockages in the system.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 2 RED FLASH

Possible Fault: Boiler Overheat Tripped

Action: Vent The Air In The Heating System; Check The Water Pressure; Check continuity across the overheat stat and that the A.P.S is operating (if fitted); Check The Circulation (Direction, Pump, Valves); Check The Wiring; Check System Pressure and That System Is Not Air-Locked.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 3 RED FLASH

Possible Fault: Ignition Fault. Boiler Has Failed To Light After 5 Attempts

Action: Check The Wiring; Check The Supply Pressure; Purge The Gas Supply To Remove Air; Check for spark at electrode; Check Ignition Electrode Condition and Clean/Replace If Necessary; Check Gas Valve is opening; Check Condensate Drain For Blockage.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 4 RED FLASH

Possible Fault: Fan Fault

Action: If fan is not running check for power to gas air unit; if the fan is running check A.P.S (if fitted) has operated. Check flue for blockages.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: 5 RED FLASH

Possible Fault: Parameter Or PSU Error

Action: PCB And Condition Of Wiring Loom; Replace PSU And Recommission; Check The Wiring.

 

Baxi Boiler Error Code: FLASHES RED 6 TIMES

Possible Fault: Miscellaneous

Action: Check All Wiring Connections Are Correctly Made; If Necessary Replace PU And/or Control/Fan Assy.
